Energy Ministry may list refineries allowed to export gasoline

MOSCOW, Jul 24 (PRIME) -- The Energy Ministry is considering making a list of gasoline exporters as a measure of illegal exports prevention, a representative told PRIME on Monday.

"Making a list of exporters is one of the measures in consideration. The Energy Ministry will keep on working on prevention of grey export schemes," the official said.

Business daily Kommersant reported citing sources that the ministry was considering listing refineries allowed to export gasoline in order to cut illegal exports, which, according to regulators and market participants, are one of the reasons of a recent increase of the wholesale gasoline prices.
